Job Summary
Join our ENTRUST team as a Senior Design Engineer supporting critical utility distribution projects including storm hardening pole replacement and system upgrades. Primarily remote with limited travel.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications standards and regulations.
Collaborate with designers drafters clients and internal teams to complete accurate design packages.
Prepare designs calculations drawings and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity.
Support project coordination by communicating scope cost schedule and quality considerations.
Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures including quality control and documentation standards.
Conduct peer reviews perform self-checks and deliver accurate work with minimal errors.
Interact professionally with clients vendors and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration.
Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
3 years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution
Knowledge of softwares BOUD Maximo
Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
