About the Role:
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Payroll & Time & Attendance Specialist to serve as the internal subject matter expert for payroll compliance and the UKG Ready platform. This role is focused on ensuring accuracy resolving complex payroll scenarios and acting as the go-to resource for both internal teams and client escalations.

The ideal candidate is highly experienced in payroll operations detail-oriented and confident handling complex calculations and compliance requirements. They are a strong problem solver who enjoys becoming a system expert and supporting both operational and technical payroll needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert for payroll time and attendance and compliance
  • Ensure payroll and timekeeping setups meet federal state and local regulations
  • Review system configurations to ensure accuracy and prevent issues
  • Manage complex payroll scenarios (accruals shift differentials garnishments union dues etc.)
  • Become the internal expert in UKG Ready and related system functionality
  • Handle advanced payroll and system escalations from start to resolution
  • Recommend best practices and system configuration improvements
  • Support documentation of payroll standards and recurring processes

Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing time & attendance and compliance
  • Understanding of payroll workflows calculations and controls
  • Familiarity with payroll taxes strongly preferred
  • Experience with UKG Ready or similar platforms preferred
  • Healthcare payroll experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven
