Senior Mobile Engineer

What Youll Do

• Design develop and maintain high-performance scalable mobile application features.

• Partner with product managers designers engineers and platform teams to deliver intuitive high-quality mobile experiences.

• Continuously improve application performance responsiveness reliability and maintainability.

• Translate stories into design & code. Develop well-engineered code and test artifacts backed by automated tests.

• Elevate code into the development test and production environments on schedule. Provide follow-up production support. Submit change control requests and documents.

• Provide subject matter expertise in software development methodology and development architecture standards. Mentor staff with less experience.

• Effectively communicate technical issues in a manner all can understand.

• Research and employ contemporary software development techniques to ensure quality and improve velocity of the team.

• Understand and comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures; verify that deliverables meet requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related work experience with at least two years of software development experience.

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; graduate degree preferred.

• Experience designing and developing cross-platform applications with React Native.

• Experience building cloud-native applications and services using AWS and serverless technologies.

• Experience integrating native iOS capabilities Apple frameworks and third-party SDKs within React Native applications.

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience building maintainable type-safe codebases.

• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and demonstrate a hands-on understanding.

• Strong understanding of design patterns integration patterns/practice data modeling principles and best practices

• A good track record of project delivery for large cross-team projects

• Strong communicationskills and the ability to connect with engineers managers PMs customers

• Experience with Mobile/Web development frameworks and micro-service architecture

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated experience with software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design data structures dependency injection testable code and algorithms

• Experience with Expo and modern React Native development practices.
