The Senior Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for large-scale mechanical and plumbing construction projects. This position supports Design-Build Design-Assist and Hard Bid opportunities and works closely with project teams subcontractors and suppliers throughout the estimating process.

• Prepare complete Mechanical and Plumbing estimates for projects exceeding$10 million.

• Develop estimates for Design-Build Design-Assist and Hard Bid projects.

• Produce accurate estimates from schematic design documents.

• Prepare comparative estimates based on multiple design alternatives.

• Develop subcontractor scopes negotiate pricing and issue subcontracts.

• Solicit and evaluate vendor and supplier pricing while negotiating buyout costs.

• Review project specifications drawings and contract documents.

• Perform material takeoffs prepare purchase orders and support project controls.

• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders throughout the estimating process.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimators.

• Extensive experience estimating Mechanical Piping Plumbing and Heavy Construction projects.

• Proven success in a Hard Bid estimating environment.

• Experience preparing complete Mechanical and Plumbing estimates for projects valued at$10 million or more.

• Strong understanding of construction contracts front-end specifications and project documentation.

• Experience negotiating with subcontractors vendors and suppliers.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

• Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.

• HVAC ductwork estimating experience is preferred but not required.

• Willingness to relocate for project assignments if necessary.
