At Dexcom our mission is to empower people to take control of their health. The Senior Manager Lean plays a critical role in helping Operations and Quality organizations achieve their strategic priorities through process improvement operational effectiveness organizational capability building and business transformation.
This role partners closely with leaders across Manufacturing Quality Supply Chain Engineering and other functions to improve how work gets done strengthen organizational performance and drive sustainable business results that support product quality reliability and patient outcomes.
Where you come in:
You lead and support cross-functional initiatives that improve operational performance quality efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
You partner with leaders to identify opportunities solve complex business challenges and implement sustainable improvements.
You facilitate strategic problem-solving sessions process reviews workshops and improvement initiatives across Operations and Quality.
You help establish and mature operational management systems performance metrics governance routines and accountability mechanisms.
You leverage Lean Six Sigma Kaizen and other operational excellence methodologies to drive measurable business outcomes.
You partner with teams to simplify standardize automate and optimize business processes.
You support change management efforts associated with new technologies organizational changes and business transformation initiatives.
You develop and coach leaders and teams on structured problem-solving continuous improvement and operational excellence principles.
You utilize data insights and performance metrics to identify opportunities and measure impact.
You collaborate with Quality Manufacturing Supply Chain Engineering IT and other stakeholders to advance strategic priorities.
You ensure improvement initiatives support regulatory compliance and quality system requirements.
You serve as a trusted advisor and change agent helping build a culture of accountability continuous learning and operational excellence.

You have experience leading cross-functional operational excellence business transformation continuous improvement or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
You have demonstrated success driving measurable business results through process improvement and stakeholder collaboration.
You possess strong analytical facilitation project management and problem-solving skills.
You are comfortable influencing stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
You have experience operating in regulated or highly complex environments.
You have the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
You effectively communicate and build strong partnerships across diverse teams and functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within medical device healthcare biotechnology pharmaceutical manufacturing or other regulated industries.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Kaizen Agile Change Management or Operational Excellence methodologies.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
Experience supporting digital transformation automation analytics or process modernization initiatives.
Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive adoption of new ways of working.
Experience building organizational capability through coaching training or leadership development programs.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 13 years of industry experience
Typically requires 5-8 years of successful management experience in relevant industry
Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Examples of English language proficiency may include (but are not limited to): ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;ability to write routine reports and correspondence;ability to verbally communicate with leadership employees and auditors; ability to comprehend spoken language.
Physical Demands:
Employees in this position may be required to perform the following physical activities: standing walking and sitting for extended periods of time; frequent use of the hands fingers wrist and greater arm to handle small materials tools boxes and trays; lifting and carrying objects up to 50Ibs; occasional overhead reaches and lifts; occasional lifts and reaches below the knee; occasional pushing and pulling of materials and objects with moderate forces; occasional crouching/kneeling twisting and squatting movements.
Work Environment:
Employees may be exposed to the following environmental conditions while performing this job: work near moving parts work with chemicals outdoor weather conditions exposure to intense light and/or intermittent light fast-paced work and elevated noise levels.
