Job Summary
Youll be based in Cupertino managing a team distributed between Cupertino and Austin and working across the full set of functions that depend on this data. Our team builds the applications and custom AI agents that enable Apple to manufacture every product we ship and to know and report how it was made including strict compliance with Apples Supplier Code of Conduct the materials used and the environmental footprint. Its high-impact work at the core of Apples partner closely with:n- Product Design and Manufacturing Design the teams whose decisions generate the data we capturen- Supplier Readiness u0026 Development and Environment program teams the full range of ESCI programs including labor and human rights health and safety code compliance smarter chemistry clean energy carbon removals materials and resourcesn- Legal and Regulatory evolving disclosure requirements and strict data governance n- Reporting and Communications the external narrative and the numbers behind itn- Business Assurance and Internal Audit evidentiary standards controls traceability and third-party assurance readinessnnYoull be someone who anticipates problems without over-architecting solutions who can distill complex challenges into clear simple outcomes and who is equally comfortable making a mature system quietly excellent and making the case to rebuild one that has reached its international travel required (Shanghai Europe) to connect with our in-region counterparts supplier-facing teams and the end users who depend on what we build.
Proven track record in change management n10 years managing software engineering or product teamsn5 years leading a combined Product and Engineering organization with full cross-functional ownership across Product Management Design and EngineeringnStrong understanding of software development APIs and platform/infrastructure conceptsnProven track record of defining and delivering a product vision across multiple applications spanning both mature systems in active production use and platforms requiring significant modernization or replacementnAbility to translate ambiguous business problems and evolving regulatory requirements into clear product solutionsnExperience partnering with senior stakeholders across functions including legal communications and audit or assurance functions and presenting to both technical and non-technical audiencesnFamiliarity with auditing systems assessment workflows and reporting or assurance standards and the data integrity and traceability requirements they imposenExperience managing distributed teams across multiple locationsnBachelors degree
Experience with supply chain supplier responsibility labor and human rights or social impact data and systemsnExperience in manufacturing or environmental systemsnExperience with third-party audit assurance or certification processesnExperience building or overseeing AI agent developmentnExperience working with international teams or counterpartsn
