Senior Manager, Contracts (On-site)

HEPCO is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Contracts for a direct hire opportunity with our client. This role leads a team of contracts professionals supporting an Acoustic Systems portfolio and manages complex contract initiatives of strategic importance.

• Lead train and mentor contracts professionals.
• Oversee RFP reviews risk assessments proposals contract negotiations administration and change management.
• Develop negotiation and contract strategies that address business objectives and mitigate risk.
• Resolve complex contractual issues during proposal development and contract execution.
• Serve as the primary contracts contact for internal teams and external customers.
• Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business or a related field and at least 9 years of related experience; a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related experience; or at least 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 6 years of experience with FAR DFAR ITAR EAR CAS and a range of government and commercial contract types.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience negotiating terms with commercial and U.S. government customers including FAR Part 15 programs.
• Strong communication judgment leadership and negotiation skills.
• Experience mentoring contracts staff and interpreting solicitations statements of work and regulations.
• NCMA CFCM CPCM or CCCM certification.
