The Personal Search Intelligence team develops and ships privacy-respecting cutting-edge AI features for Apple Intelligence delivering exceptional experiences to hundreds of millions of users worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and be part of this mission.
In this role you will be working on ideating developing and evaluating privacy preserving machine learning deep learning and generative AI algorithms for Apple Intelligence personal search features. Candidates should have a proven track record that demonstrates a deep understanding of AIML technologies agentic workflow evaluations a passion for designing and developing high-quality software strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills.
Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Applied Mathematics or a related fieldnStrong machine learning and deep learning fundamentalsnHands on experience with large language models (LLMs) prompt optimization and fine tuning of LLMsnHands on experience with automated evaluation frameworks for agentic workflowsnStrong programming and software engineering experience in one or more of the following languages: Python C C Swift
Extensive experience with evaluation data and frameworksnExtensive experience with personal searchnExperience with large vision-language and multi-modal foundation models
