Job Description

• Lead sophisticated professional liability and/or employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and provide practical high-level counsel to clients.
• Draft and oversee complex motions pleadings discovery briefs and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings mediations arbitrations and court proceedings.
• Manage client relationships and communicate directly with executives professionals insurers and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor associates and collaborate with attorneys across the litigation team.
• Evaluate case exposure develop resolution strategies and negotiate favorable outcomes.
• Manage multiple complex matters while maintaining high standards for responsiveness analysis and client service.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar admission required.
• 5 years of professional liability and/or employment litigation experience required.
• Strong litigation strategy legal writing deposition discovery and client management skills.
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities appropriate for a senior-level attorney.
• Trial arbitration mediation or significant motion practice experience is highly valued.
