Job Description

What you will be doing:

Lead single-plaintiff class action collective action and PAGA matters through all phases of litigation.
Collaborate with relationship partners to develop strategy and take ownership of its execution.
Direct discovery take and defend depositions and work with expert witnesses.
Draft and argue dispositive and other significant motions.
Appear in court and represent clients at trial and in arbitration proceedings.
Lead settlement negotiations and advocate for clients in mediations.
Prepare complex matters for trial and arbitration.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across a range of industries.

Experience you will need:

At least seven years of California labor and employment litigation experience.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
A Juris Doctor degree.
The ability to independently manage significant litigation matters.
Experience handling complex class action and PAGA matters including class certification dispositive motions expert discovery and trial preparation.
Experience handling single-plaintiff FEHA-related claims.
Excellent writing analytical advocacy and interpersonal skills.
Sound judgment initiative and a collaborative approach.
