Senior Java Developer

Apogee Global RMS is seeking a skilled / Java / Microservices Developer to support our enterprise client in New Jersey. This role focuses on designing developing and delivering scalable high-performance applications using modern backend technologies cloud-native architectures and microservices frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java REST APIs microservices distributed systems and cloud technologies with the ability to collaborate with engineering teams to build secure reliable and scalable enterprise solutions.

• Design develop test and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging modern architecture patterns.
• Design implement and optimize microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers architects QA teams and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance.
• Participate in code reviews technical design discussions and engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines automation and production deployments.

• 5 years of software development experience with strong backend engineering expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Java and development.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs JSON and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL Oracle MongoDB or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
