POSITION OVERVIEW
The Comms Media & Technology (CM&T) group is seeking a Level 9 Senior Java Developer to join a mission-critical fast-paced project team. The purpose of this role is to build scale and optimize core backend components for an enterprise Order Management System (OMS). This is a high-impact initiative with a steep learning curve requiring immediate technical autonomy.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java Spring Boot and related cloud-native architectures.
Support critical OMS functionalities including order orchestration fulfillment provisioning returns and total order lifecycle management.
Design build and support high-throughput APIs and backend integrations with billing payment inventory customer and third-party enterprise systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners QA operations and business stakeholders to support agile delivery cycles.
Utilize GenAI tools and automation accelerators to actively improve development efficiency code quality testing documentation and defect analysis.
Follow rigorous development best practices including peer code reviews CI/CD automated pipeline execution and secure coding standards.

Java & Spring Boot: 8 years of deep engineering experience (P5 - Master level)
Order Management Systems (OMS): 2 years of direct industry experience (Order orchestration fulfillment lifecycle)
API & Backend Integration: 5 years (Connecting enterprise billing inventory and payments systems)
