ROLE SUMNMARY:
- We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design build and maintain enterprise applications.
- This role will lead technical implementation mentor developers and work with product QA and DevOps teams to deliver reliable secure software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop Java applications REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Develop database integrations and optimize SQL queries and application performance.
- Review code establish development standards and mentor junior developers.
- Write unit and integration tests and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams on testing releases and operational readiness.
- Address application security scalability and reliability requirements.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java Spring Boot object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Experience developing REST APIs and working with relational databases.
- Proficiency with Git Maven or Gradle and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- Experience with Agile development and CI/CD processes.
- Strong troubleshooting communication and technical leadership skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with microservices messaging systems Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or another cloud platform.
- Familiarity with observability tools and distributed application troubleshooting.
