The Senior Consultant can work either 100% in person or in a hybrid environment with office visits as needed in the Reston VA area. About 15% travel to client locations in VA is required.

TheSenior Consultantwill develop and implement solutions for clients that are either consultative or technical in nature that provide improvements to the clients business processes and information technology. They willinterface regularly withclients and othersoutsideWipfli.

Responsibilities:

• Act as alevel-threeescalation resource for complex service desk issues troubleshooting client technology environments gathering requirements diagnosing local network/server/cloud issues and coordinating with internal SMEs or project teams to drive resolutions
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365 Azure Azure Active Directory/Active Directory SharePoint endpoint devices servers virtualizedenvironments local networks firewalls switches and cloud-based applications
• Documentandmaintainclient technology roadmaps baseline security reviews and prioritized improvement plans thatclearly explain technical findings business impact priorities and recommended next steps
• Lead recurring client maintenance and security review discussions by analyzing reports related to stale users and devices antivirus coverage security score gaps auditing/security settings network equipment and roadmap progress
• Identifyrisks modernization opportunities and process improvements present clear and actionable recommendations and develop solutions
• Scope priceandmonitor project work plans budgets timelines deliverables and out-of-scope requestsfor internal and client projects
• Proactively communicate cost quality schedule and risks to project leaderand recommend practical solutions; proactively communicate work plan status with client
• Train and mentor Consultant Is and Consultant IIs; delegate and leverage work to enable associate development
• Leads andparticipatesin research and development and foundational efforts to position the team to learn develop and deliver innovative solutions to the market

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degreeor an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7 yearsoftechnology solutionsexperience in a professional services firm or10 years of private industrytechnology solutionsexperience with 1 years inaprofessional servicesfirm
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S
• Possesses or works towards obtainingappropriate advancedcertifications
• Demonstratedblend of technicalexpertiseand consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value-driven solutions
• Ability to plan prioritize and organizemultiple projectsunder pressurewhile quickly responding to unexpected events or changing priorities
• Training support or consulting advisory experience is preferred; experience serving clients in healthcare or financial institutions industries is preferred
