As a member of the Services engineering team you will collaborate with a talented group of engineers designers and product managers to build and ship Generative AI-powered features within Apples services ecosystem. This role demands a creative driven engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited about pushing the boundaries of whats possible on Apple platforms.n

Designing and building iOS experiences that integrate Generative AI capabilities into Apple servicesnPartnering with backend and ML teams to define APIs and client-server contracts that power intelligent featuresnRapidly prototyping new concepts to validate ideas and inform product directionnCollaborating with Apple Design and cross-functional teams to deliver polished intuitive user experiencesnDriving architectural decisions that balance performance scalability and maintainabilitynContributing to a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews testing and documentationn

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experiencen6 years of experience building production iOS applications using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUInStrong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including data structures algorithms and system designnExperience integrating client applications with RESTful APIs and cloud servicesnDemonstrated ability to decompose complex features into well-scoped shippable incrementsnComfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving product requirementsnnn

Experience building features that leverage large language models or other generative AI technologiesnDeep familiarity with SwiftUI Combine and modern Swift concurrency (async/await structured concurrency)nTrack record of shipping consumer-facing features within a large-scale services organizationnStrong cross-functional communication skills with experience partnering across engineering design and product teamsnPassion for crafting accessible performant and privacy-respecting user experiencesn
