Seagates Treasury team focuses on building and managing a global insurance program that protects the company and provides insurance-related risk services across the organization. The team is responsible for providing insurance support to Seagate teams to meet business objectives working with cross-functional teams to identify risks and ensure appropriate insurance coverage continuously improving insurance-related processes and procedures and handling sensitive and proprietary information with a high level of confidentiality.
- Manage the collection and preparation of underwriting documentation for domestic and international policy placements.
- Prepare premium estimates for the annual budgeting process.
- Update quarterly insurance dashboards for upper management.
- Prepare ad hoc insurance-related reports as requested.
- Ensure insurance payments are accurate timely and properly allocated.
- Review insurance requirements in customer and supplier contracts supporting the Assistant Treasurer as needed.
- Issue certificates of insurance based on contractual requirements.
- Maintain insurance files including:
- Policy information - Paid invoices - Claims details - Insurance correspondence
- Serve as the primary administrator for insurance-related systems including maintaining site data and users and improving reporting capabilities.
- Support the Assistant Treasurer attorneys and other stakeholders with insurance claims.
- Assist with placement of coverage for special situations such as cargo shipments and bonds.
- Support other insurance-related projects as needed.

- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently meet deadlines and operate within management guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain insurance policies and concepts.

- Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information confidentially.
- Strong professional ethical and technical competence.
- Global insurance program experience.
- RMIS experience.
- Online broker and underwriter systems.
- Basic ERP knowledge preferably SAP.
- Microsoft Office.
- Tableau.
- Broad professional training or college-level education in a related field; bachelors degree in Business or a related discipline preferred.
- Preferred Certifications: CPCU ARM.
Insurance Program Administration
- Gathering and preparing data for policy renewals.
- Maintaining records for insurance policies claims and related documentation.
- Reviewing contractual insurance requirements.
- Assessing potential risks to the business and providing guidance consistent with the companys risk philosophy.
Insurance Knowledge
Candidates should have a broad understanding of corporate insurance programs and concepts particularly:
- General Liability.
- Property Insurance.
- Directors & Officers (D&O) Insurance.
- Other corporate insurance programs.
- Significant experience working with corporate insurance programs; global insurance program experience is a plus.
