Job Summary
Senior HVAC Mechanic working the shift Monday - Friday; 2pm - 10:30 pm.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operates and maintains building facilities systems and equipment related to HVAC.
- Reads and interprets blue prints drawings schematics and written technical documents associated with HVAC systems in order to locate trouble areas and complete repairs accurately.
- Performs preventive maintenance installation repair overhaul disassembly reassembly and modifications to heating ventilating control pneumatic electrical and electronic systems and related equipment to insure proper safe and efficient operation.
- Experience preparing material takeoffs from blue prints.
- Maintains required record-keeping.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited HVAC technical school or equivalent experience.
- Six years HVAC maintenance experience.
- Valid Georgia drivers license and insurable driving record.
- All positions within this classification must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend stoop and twist.
