Senior Grant Analyst- Gateway

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Grant Analyst to support one of the most iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). In this role you will be responsible for reviewing the construction work plans and regular reporting on compliance and environmental permitting requirements.

We are working as the Delivery Partner along with team members and selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation and is designed to strengthen mobility enhance resiliency and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.

The project encompasses the construction of a new two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.

Role accountabilities:

• Lead the grant management process and oversee compliance with grant requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and subject matter experts finance teams and grant administrators to develop grant budgets track expenditures and ensure financial alignment with grant guidelines.
• Monitor grant performance analyze financial data and provide insights to optimize grant utilization forecasting and budget management.
• Prepare comprehensive grant reports specifically required monthly and quarterly reporting and other documentation for submission to funding agencies ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Collaborate with auditors grantors and internal stakeholders to facilitate grant audits resolve financial issues and maintain compliance with grant regulations.
• Stay informed about federal grant regulations funding trends and reporting requirements to guide decision-making strategy and financial planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate presentations meetings and site visits with federal partners
• Review reimbursement packages requisitions change orders and other new costs for federal eligibility
• Establish SOP documents for routine processes and update on an annual basis
• Assist with grant amendment process to obligate new Capital Investment Grant funds on an annual basis
• Oversee grant analysts and delegate functions as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience in grant management financial analysis or related roles specifically in large infrastructure projects with federal funding.
• Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations compliance standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving and financial management skills.
• Proficiency in financial software grant management systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication leadership and project management abilities.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $130000 - $195000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
