A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for aSenior Java Full Stack Developer.
Position type: Full-time Contract (W2)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible)
Location: Charlotte NC - 3 days Hybrid on-site role
As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer you will:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise application modernization initiatives.
- Drive microservices design REST API development database strategy and application performance optimization.
- Establish and enforce coding standards engineering best practices and AI-assisted development methodologies.
- Partner with business stakeholders architects and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Technical decision-making risk assessments and solution governance across multiple development teams.
- Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning backlog refinement and production support activities.
- Ensure applications meet security compliance scalability and maintainability requirements within the banking environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting Governance Risk and Compliance transformation initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Hands-on Java enterprise application development.
- Experience building modern full-stack applications using React 18 and Java with strong expertise in application architecture and design patterns.
- Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture RESTful API development SQL Server performance tuning and scalable application design.
- Hands-on experience with Python and the ability to contribute across the full application stack.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies including Docker Kubernetes AWS Azure or GCP along with CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Working knowledge of Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot Cursor Claude or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers conducting code reviews defining technical standards and driving engineering best practices.
- Ability to collaborate with architects product owners business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Prior experience within financial services banking governance risk or compliance domains is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with availability to be onsite in Charlotte NC three days per week.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $50- $55 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
