Senior Full Stack Developer- Senior Advisor

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a startup mindset by adapting quickly driving innovation and executing with speed to deliver impactful solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical partners to implement software engineering best practices that reduce risk and promote reusability.
• Serve as a full-stack engineer leveraging AI-driven productivity tools including spec-driven development and modern coding approaches-to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Contribute to concept development architecture refinement and software design aligned with the organizations strategic technology objectives.
• Develop scalable high-performance applications with strong observability to ensure reliability and operational efficiency.
• Deliver high-quality customer-focused software that enables exceptional user experience.
• Architect solutions using diverse technologies and data storesapplying event-driven patterns and evaluating tradeoffs to recommend optimal approaches.
• Act as a hands-on contributor within Agile development teams; support design development deployment and maintenance activities.
• Lead and support proof-of-concept initiatives for new tools technologies and frameworks fostering innovation and experimentation.
• Build and deliver cloud-native solutions including REST APIs and microservices architectures designed to scale with evolving business needs.
• Maintain deep involvement in implementation to ensure technical excellence and alignment with design objectives.
• Identify design challenges and deliver effective scalable solutions while making informed user experience and functionality decisions.
• Drive transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and promote a culture of innovation.
• Participate in collaborative concept definition architectural refinement software design and realization of products that support the strategic technology needs of the organization.
• Build scalable high-performance applications with strong observability ensuring systems are reliable and efficient.
• Function as a hands-on member of a development team and guide the team in designing developing deploying and maintaining processes using Agile methodologies.
• Design and conduct proof of concepts for new software tools technologies and frameworks encouraging creative problem-solving and experimentation.
• Maintain deep levels of involvement in the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

• Analyze project documentation to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Gather and refine project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
• Assess and estimate development timelines and deliverables
• Develop and implement code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices
• Design and develop scalable applications using modern technologies including Go React and Python
• Manage and optimize large-scale datasets with a focus on performance and efficiency
• Utilize caching strategies and work with distributed relational NoSQL and vector databases
• Architect deploy and maintain cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS
• Employ Git GitHub and GitLab for source control collaboration and peer code reviews

Requirements

• 8 years of software engineering experience
• 8 years in a full-stack hands on engineering experience
• 5 years of experience developing and implementing AI-driven services
• Demonstrated experience working in a startup environment
• Proven experience operating within Agile development environments
• Strong background in cloud-native solutions REST APIs and microservices architecture

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development
• Ability to independently manage development efforts while collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with strong attention to detail
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 130200 - 217000 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
