Senior Financial Analyst OCI Finance Dedicated Cloud

Job location: US Nationwide Remote

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is one of Oracles fastest growing businesses. Within OCI Finance the Workload Health team supports cloud infrastructure financial planning performance analysis and deal evaluation across a rapidly scaling global cloud platform.

This role will contribute to the planning reporting and analysis activities supporting Oracles Distributed Cloud products. Working closely with senior finance team members and cross-functional stakeholders the analyst will measure and evaluate region performance develop financial models and deliver insights that help support business and operational decisions.

This position offers the opportunity to build foundational experience in financial planning and analysis within a high-growth cloud business environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented eager to learn and motivated to improve processes and reporting through automation and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning forecasting and budgeting processes for the Products and Industries organization within OCI in line with corporate finance timelines and business objectives.
  • Recommend and apply process improvements to enhance accuracy and reporting scalability leveraging the latest tooling and resources.
  • Work closely with business and operations teams to provide financial analysis and support decision-making.
  • Develop region- and customer-level reporting to monitor financial health and drive actionable insights across the Distributed Cloud Portfolio.
  • Assist with deal analysis activities through gross margin cash flow and fully burdened cost modeling for Distributed Cloud opportunities.
  • Create and deliver executive dashboards and monthly business reviews.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams on quarter-end close activities.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial and operational analyses related to infrastructure cost management capacity planning and resource optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 5 years finance experience. MBA a plus.
  • Prior Cloud Technology and Infrastructure Finance experience preferred.
  • Excellent financial modeling data analysis and Excel skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation ability.
  • Self-directed ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $74100 to $148300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
