Location: Frederick MD Field-Based / Project Sites

Compensation: $110000$150000 annually

Were partnering with an established technology integration firm seeking an experienced Senior Field Engineer to help lead the deployment commissioning and troubleshooting of sophisticated audiovisual networking and integrated technology systems.

• Lead and support complex audiovisual and integrated technology projects from installation through testing commissioning and final delivery.
  

• Troubleshoot challenging technical issues involving AV systems network infrastructure control systems and interconnected technologies.
  

• Configure test and commission sophisticated systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  

• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers providing guidance solutions and hands-on training.
  

• Collaborate with project managers engineering teams technicians and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  

• Provide technical leadership to field installation teams while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
  

• Manage technical challenges project milestones and customer expectations with professionalism and accountability.
  

• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and deliver effective practical solutions.
  

• 5 years of hands-on experience with professional audiovisual systems installation and integration.
  

• Strong troubleshooting system commissioning configuration and technical problem-solving abilities.
  

• Experience with enterprise networking and security technologies including IP addressing VLANs network topology switching and bandwidth considerations.
  

• 3 years of direct customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
  

• Experience coordinating complex technical projects and providing leadership to installation teams.
  

• Familiarity with cable installation termination device installation and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
  

• A proactive independent approach to solving problems and managing responsibilities.
  

• Excellent interpersonal skills adaptability and a genuine passion for technology.
  

• Valid drivers license and ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
  

• AVIXA CTS CTS-D or CTS-I certification.
  

• Experience with Extron Crestron Q-SYS Biamp or similar professional AV technologies.
  

• Knowledge of AV-over-IP systems DSP platforms and advanced AV control solutions.
  

• CompTIA Network Security Cisco CCNA or comparable networking certifications.
  

• Experience supporting enterprise-level technology integrations and technically demanding environments.
  

• An associates or bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
