Senior Engineering Manager

ENGINEERING MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client an international manufacturing organization headquartered in WNY is looking to add an Engineering Manager to their growing team. This is a strategic role that oversees critical engineering projects to ensure they align with company objectives and long-term growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead coach and develop a team of engineers offering support guidance and training while fostering a culture dedicated to professional development
  
• Create and implement different engineering strategies to support organizational & project goals
  
• Spearhead the planning coordination execution and completion of various engineering projects ensuring each remains within established timelines scope and budget requirements.
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated across all affected business functions
  
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement championing the adoption of new technologies process improvements and updates to existing methodologies
  
• Manage engineering budgets and resource planning for each project ensuring optimal utilization of funding and resource allocation
  
• Maintain compliance with applicable quality requirements industry standards and regulations across all engineering activities
  
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders providing detailed status updates for each project/engineering initiative
  
• Seamlessly juggle multiple complex engineering projects at a time possessing the ability to move from one to the next with ease
  
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full-time direct hire
  
• Up to 30% travel possible
  
• $150000 $200000 annually depending on experience excellent benefits
  
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related technical field; Masters degree is preferred
  
• 10 years experience in an engineering or related technical field; preferably in a manufacturing environment
  
• 5 years experience in a leadership role
  
• Must have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects and successfully leading a team
  
• Strong computer skills
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Strong strategic planning & execution skills
  
• Meticulous attention to detail
  
• Self-motivated
  
• Relocation not available
