Job Summary
ENGINEERING MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client an international manufacturing organization headquartered in WNY is looking to add an Engineering Manager to their growing team. This is a strategic role that oversees critical engineering projects to ensure they align with company objectives and long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead coach and develop a team of engineers offering support guidance and training while fostering a culture dedicated to professional development
- Create and implement different engineering strategies to support organizational & project goals
- Spearhead the planning coordination execution and completion of various engineering projects ensuring each remains within established timelines scope and budget requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering solutions are seamlessly integrated across all affected business functions
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement championing the adoption of new technologies process improvements and updates to existing methodologies
- Manage engineering budgets and resource planning for each project ensuring optimal utilization of funding and resource allocation
- Maintain compliance with applicable quality requirements industry standards and regulations across all engineering activities
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders providing detailed status updates for each project/engineering initiative
- Seamlessly juggle multiple complex engineering projects at a time possessing the ability to move from one to the next with ease
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- Up to 30% travel possible
- $150000 $200000 annually depending on experience excellent benefits
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related technical field; Masters degree is preferred
- 10 years experience in an engineering or related technical field; preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 5 years experience in a leadership role
- Must have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects and successfully leading a team
- Strong computer skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong strategic planning & execution skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Relocation not available
