The Role
Our Franklin site is seeking aProduct Development Engineertosupport the analytical and experimental development ofairborne molecular contamination solutions. The engineer will own the development validation and transfer of new and derivative AMC filter solutions. The position requires technical understanding of air filter design principles and basic HVAC systemsknowledge.
This position requires technical expertise incad design analytical methods and data interpretation. The successful candidate will work crossfunctionally with R&DandManufacturing Engineering to drive new product development scaleup andcontinuousimprovement.
What Youll Do
Research alternative manufacturing methods and design options for cost reduction and environmental impactimprovement.
Product related drafting and documentation.
Problem solving andtroubleshootingrelated to product design.
Communication and sourcing ofvendorsfor catalog and designed parts.
Testing and verification of product through physical prototype software analysis usingstatisticalCFDand FEA.
Interfaceand supportR&Dproducttest lab.
Contribute to safety method documentation and operational excellence.
What We Seek
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
5years Experience preferably in air filter industry
Experienceinprototype assemblingutilizinginhousefabricationas well ascoordinatingvendor suppliedcomponents.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical teams.
Outstanding Candidates WillHave
Masters in mechanical engineering
Minitab experience
Solidworksexperience including sheet metal and design tablefunctions.
Solidworksbased CFD and FEA analysis experience
HVAC design

- Compensation: $95000 - 116000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
