Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Elixir Backend Developer to design develop and maintain scalable high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Elixir Phoenix Framework OTP distributed systems REST APIs microservices databases messaging platforms and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain backend services using Elixir and Phoenix Framework.
- Build scalable fault-tolerant and highly available applications leveraging the BEAM VM.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design and implement database schemas queries and data models.
- Implement concurrent and distributed applications using OTP GenServer and Supervisors.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures and messaging solutions.
- Optimize application performance reliability scalability and security.
- Develop integrations with Redis Kafka RabbitMQ and other messaging platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend developers architects DevOps engineers and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews troubleshooting production support and technical design discussions.
- Implement monitoring logging and observability solutions.
- Follow Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
