Role: Senior Director Housing Supportive Services Program (HSSP)Reports to: Deputy Chief Clinical ServicesProgram: 1303-FSPDepartment: Mental HealthLocation: Westside Mental Health Office - 1749 14th Street Santa Monica CA 90404Setting: Not 100% OnsiteSchedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pmStatus:Full-time/Exempt/ManagementBenefits:Medical Vision Dental Life Insurance 403(b) Retirement plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) : 1Summary:The Senior Director of HSSP will oversee HSSP Programs in Project-Based Housing and supervise HSSP Program Directors in the clinical and administrative operations of HSSP Duties and Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Clinical Services the Senior Director HSSP is responsible for the following:n collaboration with the Deputy Chief and Program Directors monitor all administrative aspects of agencys Department of Mental Health (DMH) contracted HSSP and contract including billing and contract maximization in compliance with contract goals and outcomes in a timely supervision to HSSP Directors to ensure programs are meeting contractual obligations per DMH Funder and effective collaboration with HSH-funded (Department of Homeless Services and Housing) ICMS (Intensive Case Management) meetings respond to email correspondence develop and maintain appropriate relationships (including with the Department of Mental Health and other Intensive Case Management support organizations) on behalf of the Directors and program roster and slot allocation in accordance with DMH-funder and maintain communication with partnering ICMS provider with slot allocation partnership with Directors and Assistant Directors update staffing needs as it relates to slot with Housing Department Leadership and external ICMS Partners as it relates to clinical administrative and staff oversight of project-based building and scattered site agency interests at Department of Mental Health meetings as well as other DMH HSSP county-wide productivity goals and outcomes are achieved including a minimum of 65% of staff time being in direct service provision across program; including upholding DMH documentation standards and the coordination of clinical services and activities with outside agencies partners and funders; including the coordination of referral the coordination and development of new Project Based Housing sites and Scattered Sites assigned to and support the overall functioning of HSSP services at all Project Based Housing sites and Scattered Sites assigned to with Clinical Quality Assurance and Billing Department to ensure compliance of program in recruitment selection training supervision and evaluation of direct service with Quality Assurance to ensure proper staff orientation training and audit preparedness for all clinical and mental health required reporting to LA County Department of Mental Health as outlined by contract psychiatry needs such as data collection client coordination invoices and in crisis interventions as :Masters Degree in the field of Social Welfare or Marriage and Family Therapy or doctorate in psychology or related field; Licensure of four (4) years experience in the field of mental health and/or substance valid CA Drivers license with an acceptable driving working knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and clinical review skillsStrong training project management and team-building skillsAble to behave with sensitivity tact politeness and responsiveness with staff and clientsDetail oriented with excellent time management organizational written verbal interpersonal presentation and computer skillsKnowledge of trauma informed services housing first and harm reduction providing administrative and clinical supervisionContract and quality assurance experiencePreferred Qualifications:Active and in good standing License with Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of SpanishWork Environment:Combination of field and office environmentRegularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 occasion walk or drive to different local necessitate working in busy and loud environmentsWill be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day.
