Senior DevOps Engineer

Pay Range: $55 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include but are not limited to health insurance (medical dental vision) 401(k) plan and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain infrastructure and backend applications across AWS GCP and Azure cloud environments.
• Build and maintain cloud-native applications and digital platforms using modern DevOps practices.
• Automate operations and streamline processes for faster more reliable software deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineering and technical teams to provide assistance and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage and build CI/CD pipelines and tools working closely with development QA and other teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Build and maintain tools for deployment security patching vulnerability management and change management.
• Implement and manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experiment with RCA monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog New Relic Dynatrace ELK Stack and related technologies.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement automation and operational excellence.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 7 years of experience in cloud computing DevOps or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms microservices architecture CI/CD solutions containerization and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda EKS ECS Fargate and other AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform Ansible or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Understanding of building scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with database management and cloud-based data services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker Kubernetes and/or Java.
• Good knowledge of Git repositories and versioning strategies.
• Strong understanding of system administration and Linux environments.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Cloud Practitioner / GCP / Azure certification.
