Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines systems administration cloud technologies and ensuring robust security and compliance. Your expertise will be critical in supporting and enhancing our infrastructure and deployment processes.

This position is a temporary to possible permanent role with a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Management: Design implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab. Ensure efficient and reliable build and release processes.

System Management:

Administer services and applications focusing on stability security and performance.

Monitor system performance availability and security ensuring all updates are completed and functioning optimally.

Automate routine tasks using scripting (Python Go).

Cloud & Virtualization: Develop and manage applications in AWS Azure and on premises.

Infrastructure as Code: Automate container deployment and management.

Security Testing: Implement Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

Reporting: Create comprehensive reports on code testing coverage vulnerability analysis software bill of materials (SBOM) and observability metrics to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Automation: Develop automation scripts to streamline processes and improve deployment efficiency.

Qualifications:

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.

Experience: 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Systems Administration: Some experience in system administration including troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Virtualization: Hands-on experience managing virtual machines and containerized applications.

Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge and experience with Azure and AWS cloud services including deployment management and scaling of applications.

Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices to ensure software quality.
