OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Senior Developer you will be part of a development team that designs and develops latest generation enterprise applications to help the business become more efficient. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding training and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
o Analyzing functional specifications and providing technical requirements
o Designing developing and testing new applications features and enhancements
o Debugging the software and implementing bug fixes
o Participating in code review processes and mentoring entry-level developers in software design best practices
o Suggesting changes to the team process to bring about improvements in the teams ability to deliver
o Defining and supporting the direction and production of chosen technologies
o Applying best-practice security principles to enterprise software applications
o Acting as a liaison with Business Analysts to ensure capabilities are aligned with business requirements
o Acting as a liaison with the Quality Assurance team to develop testing approaches
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Computer Information Systems Math Data Science Actuarial Science OR a related degree
o Possess 2 years of software development experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Demonstrate strong organization planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Highly motivated self-directed and customer service oriented
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Demonstrate strong attention to detail
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition innovation integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen and background check (applicable in the US Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Knowledge of one of the following languages/Toolsets : C# Java JavaScript SQL Automation ERP Python Xcode swift Kotlin PeopleTools
o Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Test Driven Development
o Knowledge of version control systems
o Working knowledge or experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices
o Working knowledge or experience with RESTful JSON web services
o Working knowledge or experience with Oracle Databases and Microsoft Azure
