Senior Designer, Design Team

Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apples consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple engaging and inspiring marketing Design Team is responsible for the design and art direction of core communicationsincluding product launches and seasonal campaignsacross Retail Channel Packaging Keynote and Events. Working in a highly collaborative manner a primary focus of the Design Team is to define the look and feel of all Apple product images and motion through experimentation critical thinking and extraordinary attention to detail.

The Senior Designer is an integral member of the team creating innovative and compelling work that meets the requirements outlined in Apples creative briefs from ideation to this role you will be instrumental in developing design and art-direction that inspires both current and potential customers for one of the worlds most beloved brands.

Crafting innovative and inspiring campaigns that align with creative briefings across a broad range of of graphic design motion design and art-direction for products services and events using 2D 3D motion software and other emerging driven creative development of images animation and other branding elements for Apples packaging print and digital advertising social media channel and retail direction from project Art Directors and Creative Directors responding quickly to new information and pivoting strategically when collaboration and communication with internal teams and external vendors including providing art direction guidance and to convey a strong point of view on design solutions through logical strategic thinking. nnSensitivity for appropriate aesthetic choices and a desire to push innovation in Apples work.

4 years of graphic design motion design and art-direction experience. nPortfolio exhibiting a thorough grasp of design principles animation principles motion theory typography and visual organizational skills in the preparation and presentation of ability with 2D 3D and motion design software.

BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design or a related are naturally curious and have an awareness toward the evolving landscape of available tools technologies resources and are well apt in traditional graphic design branding photography CGI and art direction as it pertains to print digital and conceptual design communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly engage in debate and accept directional collaboration style capable of real-time creative problem-solving that promotes to cut through ambiguity and find the path forward despite uncertainty or challenges.
