Pratt & Whitneys Cold Section Engineering Support to Operations (CSE ESTO) organization is looking for a self-motivated and detail-focused Senior Design Engineer. In this role you will be supporting the analysis and production of rotating hardware for commercial engines.

What You Will Do:

• Execute and oversee day-to-day activities for production support quality issues supplier transitions and Class 2 Engineering Changes for rotating hardware.
• Identify areas of waste within the production support process. Continue to challenge current processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical support and analysis for production investigations.
• Capture ESTO lessons continuous improvement into the product development cycle.
• Travel Requirement: 10% (Domestic and International).

Qualifications You Must Have:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 5 years of Engineering experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of Engineering experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Advanced Engineering degree.
• Experience working in the Aerospace Industry in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous Design or Manufacturing experience.
• Working proficiency with MS Office Teamcenter SAP Siemens NX.

Department/Segment Overview:

Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO): ESTO provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications escapes works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts assemblies modules and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families enabling engine deliveries first piece reviews first article inspections analysis automation process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering Mechanical Design Structural Analysis Product Definition and Manufacturing Engineering.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about therole type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
