As a Senior Database Administrator youll have the opportunity to work across Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle tackle complex performance and security challenges and influence the design of enterprise-class database environments.

What youll do

• Administer design develop and deliver enterprise database solutions while owning day-to-day SQL environment operations.
• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize database performance including tuning and proactive issue resolution.
• Partner with Infrastructure Server Storage Networking Security and Applications teams on backup recovery and multi-year database strategy.
• Plan organize and track functional tasks projects and project-based initiatives while ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor track and escalate database incidents through the Service Desk and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.

What youll bring

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 5-7 years experience administering SQL environments
• Strong understanding of SQL clustering availability groups and standalone architecture
• Ability to work with teams to identify troubleshoot and remediate a variety of SQL problems including locking/blocking indexing issues and capacity review/turning
• Familiarity with Idera is a plus

The salary range for this position is $120000 - $145000. Pay within the range is based on several factors which may include but are not limited to education work experience specialized training and labor market additional to salary Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
