Job Summary
SteerBridge is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to evaluate multi-dimensional aviation global supplychain and operational data to construct andmaintainpredictive models. Candidates must befamiliar with multiple types of data models including but not limited to generalizedlinearandmultilinear regression logistic and multinomial regression and time series analysis.
Candidates must have hand-on experience with supervised (classification regression)and unsupervised learning (clustering dimension reduction).
The Senior Data Scientist must be prepared to dive deep into disparate data from multiple sources inmultiple formatsin order tointegrate and evaluate todeterminethe mostappropriate modelingapproach. The Senior Data Scientist willbe responsible forleading end-to-end analytical models anddata science framing activities including but not limited to working with partners toidentifyfieldsdata provenance and integration data quality assessments and documentation of dataprocesses and models.
The Senior Data Scientist must be able to review and understand large sets of data while being able tohighlight relevant trends and patterns. The ideal candidate is a quick learner curious innovativeresults-oriented and has strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics Statistics or a related field; alternatively a Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with equivalent professional experience.
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one isrequired.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate those requirements into data science solutions.
Provide guidance on best practices and industry standards across data science and analytics data visualization and shareexpertiseto improve technical capabilities of the team.
Design develop and integrate templates data and models for repeatability.
Develop and implement data quality assurance and management protocols.
Createmaintain and organize technical documentation for all data collection cleaning and analyses.
Location: Must be local to the Vienna Va area and able to work on-site at ourViennaVA office (3days/week). Hybrid opportunities at supervisors discretion.
Required and Preferred Skillsets
Must be familiar with multiple types of data models including but not limited to generalized linear and multilinear regression logistic and multinomial regression and time series analysis.
Must have hand-on experience with supervised (classification regression) and unsupervised learning (clustering dimension reduction).
Must have experience documentingalgorithm development and implementation.
6 years in the aerospace industrypreferred..
6 years of experience evaluating relationships in data using statistical modeling and leveraging analytics tools.
6 years of experience in advanced Classification and Regression modeling.
6 years of professional proficiency using R or Python for data wrangling and model building.
Experience in SQL or Spark SQL and basic database design.
Cloud project work using GoogleAWSand/or Azure.
Demonstrated highproficiencyin statistical analysis and data visualization.
Demonstrated highproficiencyin data wrangling and documentation.
Solid technical skills across a wide variety of tools and data platforms.
Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple project tasks simultaneously and complete themin a timely mannerwith a high degree of accuracy.
Strong record of applied data analysis.
Excellent writing and presentation skills with a successfultrack recordof communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred:
(Highly preferred) AWS or Google Cloud Professional or Specialty Certification or ability to obtain certification.
Proficiencyin integrating and interfacing with software development processes.
Consulting experience.
