Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in AWS data platforms particularly Redshift and S3 along with solid database administration and engineering skills. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with indexing data modeling database migrations ETL data warehousing and Medallion Architecture.
What you will do
- Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms.
- Work extensively with AWS S3 and Amazon Redshift.
- Perform database optimization indexing and health monitoring.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Design effective data models and data warehouse solutions.
- Support database and data platform migrations.
- Implement and maintain Medallion Architecture (Bronze Silver Gold layers).
- Troubleshoot data and database performance issues.
- Ensure data quality reliability scalability and performance.
Nice to have
- Experience designing modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience with large-scale data migration and optimization projects
Pay: $55/hour
