The Cyber Security SOAR Engineer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining security automation solutions that support and enhance the organizations Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities. This role operates within a complex cybersecurity ecosystem consisting of SIEM EDR cloud security ITSM threat intelligence and enterprise security platforms.
In this role you will drive the automation of threat detection incident triage investigation escalation and remediation processes by building scalable playbooks workflows and integrations across security and business systems. You will ensure the reliability scalability and effectiveness of security operations by developing robust APIs custom dashboards reporting capabilities and data enrichment solutions that improve operational visibility and response efficiency.

- Integrate security and IT systems through APIs and connectors.
- Optimize Risk triage escalation and remediation processes.
- Maintain governance documentation and change controls for SOAR automations.
- Monitor automation effectiveness and identify opportunities for further efficiency gains.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with stakeholders.
- Gather analyze and document business and technical requirements.
- Develop functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create user stories epics acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities.
- Build customSOARwidgets
- Develop custom forms dashboards reports and user interfaces.
- Optimize application performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
- Integrate security tools cloud platforms CMDBs ticketing systems and enterprise applications.
- Develop error handling monitoring and logging capabilities.
- Create integration documentation and support procedures.
- Support compliance and governance initiatives.
- Implement data validation and quality controls.
- Build integrations between SaaS cloud and on-premises systems.
- Normalize and enrich operational and security datasets.
