Position SummaryTOPS Products is a leader in the tax software industry delivering innovative solutions that streamline tax preparation and compliance. Our software supports mission-critical workflows for tax professionals where reliability security and performance are are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (DevOps & Azure) to help evolve and operate our Azure cloud platform and DevOps practices. This role will focus on improving infrastructure deployment processes and operational reliability while partnering closely with engineering security and leadership is a hands-on high-impact role for someone who excels at building automating and improving systems driving meaningful improvements through execution and ResponsibilitiesAzure Cloud Platform EngineeringLead implementation and continuous improvement of TOPS Products Azure cloud architecture through practical design and execution of networking identity access control and security to platform reliability performance and scalability with cost management resource optimization and capacity & Delivery EnablementBuild maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment and implement best practices for Infrastructure as Code automation and environment with development teams to improve developer experience release reliability and deployment establish visibility into build release and operational Coordination (NOC & SOC)Act as a key technical point of contact for the Managed Service Provider (MSP).Coordinate with the MSP on monitoring alerting and incident response clarity in escalation paths and ensure effective communication during operational outputs and contribute to continuous improvement of & Operational ExcellencePartner with engineering QA security and product teams to align platform capabilities with business to incident reviews root cause analysis and preventative platform configurations standards and operational ongoing improvements in platform governance and operational Success Looks LikeAzure environments are stable secure and continuously pipelines are reliable and enable efficient low-risk teams experience fewer deployment and environment-related interactions are smooth coordinated and effective during improvements are consistently delivered through automation and best Qualifications69 years of experience in cloud infrastructure DevOps or platform engineering hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute networking identity storage security).Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting modern DevOps working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) including NOC and/or SOC understanding of cloud security monitoring and incident response problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across QualificationsExperience in SaaS or regulated environments (finance tax compliance or similar).Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform Bicep ARM).Familiarity with Azure-native monitoring and security supporting Agile or product-focused engineering teams.
