SMG Cardiology Specialists are seeking to hire a Senior Certified Medical Assistant.
Position Location: Norfolk VA
Position Status: Full-Time Days
Overview
Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training education and competency evaluation and as delegated or assigned by and/or under the direction/supervision of the Physician Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA) Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Perform administrative duties as appropriate.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification
Must have one of the following Certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Registered Medical Assistant
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Certified EMT (EMT-B AEMT)
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
Experience
- Patient Care experience of 3 years required.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $24.95 - $35.95 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials standby/on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
