STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer C# on behalf of our client in Los Angeles CA. This role is ideal for a highly skilled software engineer with strong expertise in building scalable secure and high-performance systems. The selected candidate will contribute to Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) initiatives supporting partner onboarding and platform enhancements that power embedded financial services.

The ideal candidate is passionate about modern software engineering cloud-native architecture and building resilient systems in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.

• Design develop and maintain APIs and microservices to support partner integrations and onboarding initiatives.

• Collaborate with product managers architects and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable software solutions.

• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews mentorship and implementation of best practices in CI/CD automated testing and observability.

• Contribute to monitoring alerting and reliability improvements to ensure service performance and SLA compliance.

• Participate in incident response troubleshooting and root cause analysis to strengthen platform stability.

• Create and maintain architectural documentation technical specifications and design artifacts.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions based on technical and business needs.

• Refactor and optimize existing systems to improve performance scalability and maintainability.

• Develop durable and flexible software solutions with a focus on long-term scalability and configurability.

• 5 years of software engineering experience including experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineering teams.

• Strong hands-on expertise with C# .NET SQL and cloud technologies particularly within Azure environments.

• Experience with Azure services such as API Management cloud databases secure key management and event-driven systems.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs OAuth2 and OpenAPI specifications.

• Experience designing and supporting microservices architectures and event-driven applications.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools.

• Strong understanding of Git DevOps practices Agile/Scrum methodologies and software security best practices.

• Knowledge of compliance and security standards relevant to highly regulated environments.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting customer-facing applications.

• Experience in FinTech Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) or embedded finance platforms.

• Familiarity with partner onboarding workflows and service-level management.

• Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications are a plus.
