Senior Bridge Design Project Engineer VI

AECOM is seeking a candidate for the position of Senior Bridge Design Project Engineer VI in the growing Transportation Engineering Group in Omaha NE.

Specifics of the role include:

• Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid-large-size projects.
• Strong emphasis on railway and highway bridge design and deliveries.
• Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
• Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
• Leads technical business development work.
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertise.
• Approves and signs off on work.
• Leader in one or more areas of technology.
• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large complex projects.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
• A current PE education.
• Ability to pass MVR check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years experience in bridge design
• Extensive project design experience with railway system and roadway bridges and related structures
• Project management skills
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills including technical report writing.
• Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools software)
• Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices techniques and applicable Codes.
• Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools.
