Job Summary

Senior AWS Backend Developer- 3 openings

$65 pr hr on W2

W2 Candidates only

Location: Davidson NC 28036/ St Paul MN 55110 Hybrid (4 days onsite every week onsite)

Relocation is fine

HM Important Notes:

  • At least 4 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on AWS:
  • AWS services used: Lambda DynamoDB API Gateway
  • Proficiency in Python OR Typescript
  • React experience is preferred
  • Preference for candidates with frontend experience in React
  • AI-related experience will be a plus

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture: Design and maintain reliable backend systems using AWS services.

API Development: Build and optimize secure RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.

Code Quality:

Write clean maintainable code using TypeScript or other typed languages.

CI/CD Automation: Set up and manage build and deployment pipelines using tools like GitLab Jenkins or AWS pipeline services.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional and globally dispersed teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience with the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem (such as npm and webpack).

Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on AWS (such as Lambda DynamoDB API Gateway or Amplify).

Experience creating and consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL.

Mastery of version control and CI/CD tools like Git GitLab Jenkins or AWS Code Pipeline.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on writing automated tests to minimize maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certifications (such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

Experience with user-centered design principles or prototyping tools to help bridge the gap between frontend and backend systems.
