Our Work MattersAt Kindeva we make products that save lives ensuring better health and well-being for patients around the Impact You Will MakeThe mission of Automation is to provide highly effective automated manufacturing workflow solutions information collection systems and reporting solutions for the St. Louis technical expertise required to achieve and sustain optimum reliability maintainability useful life and life cycle cost for all facilities manufacturing utilities and process systems/ refine and perform backup restore and disasterrecovery forautomation/vision engineering automation/vision troubleshooting expertise/guidance for corrective maintenance project engineering and qualification strategies/programs are aligned with supporting sitesoverall Asset Improvement strategies for supporting the customer ResponsibilitiesPerform equipment evaluations and troubleshoot where necessary. Troubleshooting may require both mechanical and automated system equipment systems forreliabilitymaintenance history downtime factorsefficiency reject rates and other elements affecting overall up-time and quality periodic software system backups security (password) updates PLC code comparisons vision job file backups and maintains the Automation activities based on the criticality of systems to ensure quality and regulatory as Automations single point of contact for their assigned area of responsibility. Providestechnicalleadership and guidance to site operating groups throughinvestigationsequipment assessments generation of user requirements design support and troubleshooting with managers within Engineering Operations Maintenanceand Qualitytoensure the mission objectives and strategies are executed consistently and to the fullest extent to support the site as intended and outlined in service level agreements with the varies customer and leads projects to make improvements to vision/automation systems via Quality Change Control capital projects and leads Automation aspects of those projects as or modifies standard operating procedures risk assessments forms templates and logs as as System Administrator for all manufacturing inspection packaging environmental monitoring laboratory and support systems where Automation group has the primary support role. Maintain list of active users adds new approved users deactivates terminated users and resets passwords when QualificationsAssociates degree or Higher; Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field Electrical Mechanical Chemical or Computer Engineering; OR 2 years in industrial automation software robotics or machine vision in an FDA regulated industry (e.g. Pharmaceuticals Medical Device).Preferred 2 or more years industrial automation/machine vision controls experience; should have detailed knowledge of programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) machine vision systems and/or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.#LI-Onsite
