Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior AccountantSalary Range: $80000-95000Location: Evergreen Goodwill Administrative OfficeJob Site: In PersonAbout the Position The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing various accounting functions including preparing general ledger entries reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role is integral to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data supporting the monthly and year-end closing processes and assisting in audits and variance Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Prepare and record timely accurate general ledger entries including adjustments and balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with organizational policies and monthly and year-end closing processes ensuring all deadlines are in preparing and reviewing financial reports variance analyses and budget-to-actual in preparing audit schedules and support both internal and external audit compliance with internal controls and contribute to process improvements to enhance accuracy and with other departments to resolve discrepancies provide financial insights and support ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as assigned by the Accounting and uphold safe work practices through awareness training and reporting of potential other duties and projects as Requirements:Qualifications under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)To successfully perform this job individuals must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily.
