Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Own month-end close tasks including journal entries accruals and prepaids.
  
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for bank credit card inventory and fixed asset accounts.
  
• Support location-level P&Ls food and labor cost tracking and POS and sales reconciliations.
  
• Support the conversion from QuickBooks Desktop to NetSuite including data cleanup chart of accounts mapping and testing.
  
• Oversee accounts payable including invoice coding approvals and vendor management.
  
• Maintain W-9s and support the 1099 process.
  
• Clean up historical account issues and document accounting processes and procedures.
  
• Work closely with the Cost Accountant and Controller on financial reporting and analysis.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  
• Experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role with full month-end close responsibility.
  
• Strong experience with journal entries accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  
• Experience with accounts payable oversight and 1099 reporting.
  
• Ability to work independently and bring structure to an evolving environment.
  
• Restaurant food service or other high-SKU industry experience ideally multi-location is a plus.
  
• NetSuite QuickBooks Desktop or system conversion experience is a plus.
  
• R365 experience is a plus.
