Syngentas Syngentas Commercial Team is seeking a Seeds Communications Intern in Lisle IL. 

As part of Syngentas Emerging Talent Program you will gain hands-on experience exposure to day-to-day business operations and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills. 

Accountabilities:

• Build communications initiatives and tactical content for the Global and North America Seeds business.
• Learn communications fundamentals and best practices.
• Learn technology to support communications execution.
• Training is provided in-house and guidance is provided by management.
• Develop skills and experience to further your career.
• Assist in the execution of communications initiatives as assigned.
• Support the digital marketing effort for North America Communications such as e-newsletters social media and event support.
• Assist with asset management content audits and content creation.
• Learn digital technologies to support the execution and measurement of communications plans.
• Develop and execute a social content calendar for Seeds leaders.
• Support summer events as needed.
• Develop basic knowledge of the Seeds business.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and the student must be pursuing an advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• Requires developed specialized skills or a breadth of skills through job-related training on-the-job experience and coursework.

Desired Qualifications:

• A demonstrated passion for agriculture and food production is a definite asset.
• Knowledge of marketing processes data insights and analytics agronomics general cropping practices agricultural technology and trends and requirements for pest control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills comprising strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead be self-directed and work as part of a team.

Additional Information :

All applicants must be eligible to work in the US and likely Downers Grove Illinois.

Salary for this position ranges between $20 - $45 hourly.
