Syngentas Syngentas Commercial Team is seeking a Seeds Communications Intern in Lisle IL.
As part of Syngentas Emerging Talent Program you will gain hands-on experience exposure to day-to-day business operations and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills.
Accountabilities:
- Build communications initiatives and tactical content for the Global and North America Seeds business.
- Learn communications fundamentals and best practices.
- Learn technology to support communications execution.
- Training is provided in-house and guidance is provided by management.
- Develop skills and experience to further your career.
- Assist in the execution of communications initiatives as assigned.
- Support the digital marketing effort for North America Communications such as e-newsletters social media and event support.
- Assist with asset management content audits and content creation.
- Learn digital technologies to support the execution and measurement of communications plans.
- Develop and execute a social content calendar for Seeds leaders.
- Support summer events as needed.
- Develop basic knowledge of the Seeds business.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and the student must be pursuing an advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Requires developed specialized skills or a breadth of skills through job-related training on-the-job experience and coursework.
Desired Qualifications:
- A demonstrated passion for agriculture and food production is a definite asset.
- Knowledge of marketing processes data insights and analytics agronomics general cropping practices agricultural technology and trends and requirements for pest control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills comprising strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead be self-directed and work as part of a team.
Additional Information :
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US and likely Downers Grove Illinois.
Salary for this position ranges between $20 - $45 hourly.
