KBR is seeking a Security Specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor MI. An active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Administers and coordinates the DoD SAP IC or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures that are non-IT related.
• Typical security related issues may include physical access to buildings room couriers clearances packages documentation and debriefings.
• Develops and implements security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel.
• Conducts security briefings.
• Participates in the development of and conducts security education programs.
• Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
• Maintains liaison with outside agencies.
• Develops and implements procedures and coordinates procedure manual revisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years experience in a DoD SAP IC or other Industrial Security programs and in-depth knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM SAP IC or other government security regulatory manuals.
• Excellent communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• COMSEC account experience
• Experience with SAP and IC networks accounts.

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week

Basic Compensation: The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus relocation benefits short term incentives long term incentives or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
