As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Screening Specialist in Secaucus NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will help support a secure environment by screening people and belongings monitoring access points responding to security-related concerns and providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures access screening protocols and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel visitors packages and/or deliveries in accordance with established entry requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor access points visitor activity and screening equipment; report unusual activity policy concerns and/or prohibited items to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following site procedures and documenting observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access areas business spaces and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
