As a Security Officer Patrol Access Systems in Hanover Township PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents support access control and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document activity. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

1. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

   • Candidates must be informed about the necessity of having prior experience with access control systems and badge management.
   • Emails should include details about the specific systems used at Your Company Name and any relevant training that may be provided.

2. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

   • It is essential to assess candidates comfort levels with technology particularly with computers and tablets.
   • Emails should encourage candidates to share their experience with relevant software and tools and provide information on any required technical skills.

3. Loss Prevention (B210)

   • Candidates should be made aware of the importance of loss prevention in their roles.
   • Communication should include an overview of loss prevention strategies employed by Your Company Name and the expectations for adherence to these practices.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors drivers and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control requirements and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents alarms medical situations and critical events in a calm problem-solving manner; communicate observations and requests for assistance to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors exterior perimeters parking areas loading docks and employee entrances to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points visitor activity delivery traffic and contractor arrivals in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols incidents unusual conditions and security-related observations accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
