Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Columbus IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication teamwork and integrity while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative and caring culture.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas offices parking areas access points and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location verify visitor and contractor entry requirements and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Document patrols incidents observations and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
