As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Support in YORK PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents support access control activities and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid drivers license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Valid Drivers License
Candidates must possess a valid drivers license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.Access Control/Badge Experience
Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). Familiarity with these systems is crucial for maintaining security protocols within the organization.Alarm Panel Experience
Experience with alarm panel systems (B202) is required for positions that involve monitoring and responding to security alarms. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm operations and emergency response procedures.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
Candidates must be comfortable using computers or tablets (B204) for daily tasks including communication data entry and accessing company systems. Proficiency in basic software applications is expected.CPR Certification
A valid CPR certification (B205) is mandatory for roles that involve safety and emergency response. Candidates must provide proof of certification from a recognized training provider.Customer Service Experience
Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location.
- Respond to incidents alarms access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas offices parking areas loading docks vehicle storage areas and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as directed and maintain accurate logs of incidents patrols and security-related observations.
- Report hazards maintenance concerns suspicious activity and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
