As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Bethesda MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide welcoming customer service to guests tenants and staff. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants shoppers visitors and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical situations and other critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of mall common areas retail corridors parking areas exterior grounds and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control visitor inquiries wayfinding and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations incidents and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
